The Valdosta Board of REALTORS® has had a Community Service Committee for many years.  The sole purpose of this Committee has been for REALTORS® to give back to the community in which they make their living. 

For several years, the Committee worked on the Woman’s Show and raised tens of thousands of dollars for various local charitable organizations.  Just a few of the beneficiaries of monies raised in this annual endeavor include the Children’s Advocacy Center of Valdosta, Hospice of South Georgia, Inc., Second Harvest Kids Café, the Valdosta Theater Guild Children’s Theater, the Janus School for Autistic Children, Jacobs’ Ladder Therapeutic Riding Center and Arts, Inc.

Now, the Committee is so excited to hold a festive gala, the Festival of Trees. The festival will take place at the beautiful Crescent in downtown Valdosta. It will feature decorated Trees, Wreaths, and Centerpieces. There will be many wonderful and one-of-a kind silent auction items. The local band Tanner's Lane will entertain the crowd while enjoying drinks and heavy Hors doeuvres catered by Covington's. The proceeds from this wonderful event will benefit the Crescent and the Homeless Shelter which is supported by LAMP.
